About Me
I have practised as a psychologist in private practice and with organizations for over 18 years. I work with adults individually or as couples in both brief/short term therapies as well as long term therapy.
I believe that psychotherapy is transformative and involves helping you to become the best version of yourself.
My interest as a psychotherapist involves working with most aspects of psychological health and wellbeing with an integrated approach towards body, mind and emotions.
I have particular interests in:

My involvement has also been in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate classes in psychology at different universities, training lay counsellors at various NGO’s and helping to set up organizations to deal with trauma and abuse of women and children. My interests also involve writing articles on topics related to psychological growth.
A more recent involvement in the last few years has been with an international organization doing trauma work in Africa where I go periodically in a consultative basis.
I am currently involved in creating a self help series for individuals or groups to work through divorce called "Transformation after Divorce".
I have a very strong belief in the regenerative power of the human psyche and the transformative potential of life crises and difficulties. By increasing our awareness we start to realize the countless possibilites and choices available in every situation.
